Prosesor berbasis AMD Kaveri tidak kompatibel dengan mobo FM2, oleh sebab itu AMD mengeluarkan chipset baru untuk mobo berprosesor Kaveri, motherboard tersebut hadir dengan soket tipe baru yaitu FM2+ dengan pilihan chipset seperti A88X, A78, A75, serta A55. Dengan beragamnya tipe chipset, tidak aneh jika dipasaran dipenuhi beragam varian motherboard APU Kaveri dengan beragam tawaran fitur yang menarik. Salah satu produsen mobo yang sedang naik daun, ASRock, telah merilis mobo FM2+ dengan chipset A88X (Bolton D4) dengan harga yang kompetitif, meskipun mobo ini adalah mobo untuk segmen kelas atas. Mobo ini ditujukan bagi segmen antusias (gamer), dimana disematkan fitur LAN Killer 2205 GBe controller untuk para gamer yang menginginkan kelancaran dalam bermain game, konfigurasi power phase 4+2, port USB 3.0 via ASMedia ASM1042 controller, dan yang menarik adalah fitur Purity Sound pada sound card-nya dengan chip Realtek 1150 yang mana dapat menghasilkan suara yang jernih dan meminimalisir interferensi gelombang magnetik, serta mendukung audio 8 chanel. Empat buah posrt USB 2.0 di belakang panel I/O digunakan untuk keperluan dasar seperti mouse dan keyboard.
